The Laboratory Department offers a variety of tests and procedures, for both inpatients and outpatients, which assist physicians in diagnostic evaluations. The laboratory is equipped with a Urine Chemistry and Chemistry Department, and a Hematology/Coagulation Department. Routine services include blood chemistries, automated hematological test, Protime (PT) and Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (APTT), and much more. We also offer several quick serological tests for the detection of such things as Respiratory Synctial Virus (RSV), Group A Streptococcus, and Infectious Mononucleosis.
