Visitor Policy Update February 7, 2022
New visitor restrictions are now in effect in response to current national flu and Coronavirus concerns.
Big Bend Regional Medical Center takes the health and safety of
caregivers, patients, and visitors very seriously.
If you meet visitor criteria, you will be screened. If you
have any upper respiratory symptoms, fever, sore throat or a runny nose,
we ask that you do not visit patients in the hospital or accompany
patients to clinics or other health services.
MedSurg (Hospital patient): Hours 8 am - 8 pm; 2 visitors per day.
OB: 1 support person at all times, no changing.
OR: 1 support person at all times, no changing.
ER: 1 support person at all times, no changing.
ALL Visitors will continue to adhere to the masking guidelines, screening process, and encouraged not to visit if feeling ill.

- Wash your hands often while visiting our facility. It prevents the spread of germs that can cause infection.
- If you have a fever, cold, or any infection symptoms, stay home.
- Big Bend Regional Medical Center is a tobacco-free campus. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the grounds.
- Don’t bring patients food or candies unless your attending doctor gives permission.
